- Assessment of solar radiation and air temperature for a solar energy project.
- In-house validation procedures for the region of interest
- Comparison to other data sources and critical analysis
- Interannual variability is analysed using 17 (12) years of continuous historical data
Photovoltaic Energy Yield Assesment Report
- Estimate of local climate conditions and PV project performance. Includes all necessary information for a project
preparation, assessment of design alternatives and financing.
- Includes Site Climate Assessment and monthly statistics of the PV output
- Components of the power plant are evaluated independently
- Quantitative evaluation of shading losses due to terrain and inter-row shading of PV modules
- Optimization of the module field (spacing, inclination)
- Evaluation of alternative options (module technologies, fixed vs. tracking, etc.)
- Estimate of the PV power production in the first year and for the project lifetime
- Uncertainty at 90% probability of exceedance P(90)
